This Privacy Policy explains how CamRoot collects, uses, stores, protects and shares information related to customers, installers, dealers, service partners, managers and platform users.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of CamRoot, including customers who submit CCTV/security requirements, CamRoot Partners/installers, dealers, service providers, managers, administrators and any person who accesses CamRoot through the website, PWA or Android app.
This policy covers information collected through CamRoot pages, lead/enquiry forms, partner registration forms, login systems, dashboards, support tickets, quotation maker, notification system, analytics tools and communication channels.
CamRoot is operated by Dits Sales Corporation. CamRoot is the platform brand and Ditsvision is the supporting business/technology brand associated with the platform.
Depending on how you use CamRoot, we may collect the following categories of information:
Customers may submit CCTV/security requirements through CamRoot landing pages, website forms or related lead forms. This may include name, mobile number, district, area, customer type, requirement details, camera count, budget and preferred service timing.
Customer enquiry information is used to understand the requirement and share relevant enquiry details with suitable verified CamRoot Partners for CCTV installation, repair, AMC, security product consultation or related service purposes.
When an installer, dealer or service provider registers as a CamRoot Partner, we may collect account and business information for account creation, approval, service area matching, fraud prevention, communication, support and platform quality control.
CamRoot may provide a Quotation Maker feature for partners. When a partner creates a quotation, the partner may enter customer name, address, contact number, optional GSTIN, item details, pricing, tax rate and business details for PDF quotation generation.
Partners are responsible for ensuring that customer information entered in quotations is accurate and has been collected for a legitimate service or business purpose. Quotation records may be retained for business, dispute resolution, accounting, security or service history purposes.
We use collected information for the following purposes:
By submitting information to CamRoot, registering as a partner, logging in, submitting a CCTV/security requirement, creating a quotation, using support, enabling notifications or using the app/website, you provide consent for CamRoot to process your information for the purposes described in this policy.
In some cases, information may also be processed for legitimate business purposes, platform security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, accounting, tax records, user support and enforcement of platform rules.
CamRoot may share information only where required for platform operation, service delivery, security, legal compliance or business purposes.
CamRoot Partners who receive customer enquiry information must handle such information responsibly and only for the intended CCTV/security service purpose.
CamRoot may use cookies, browser sessions and similar technologies to keep users logged in, maintain app functionality, improve security, remember session status and provide a smooth website, PWA and app experience.
On public CamRoot website pages, we may use lightweight first-party analytics to understand website usage and improve SEO, page content, user experience and enquiry performance. This may include anonymous visitor and session identifiers, page views, landing pages, traffic source or campaign information, broad device type, CTA clicks, Call or WhatsApp button clicks and successful requirement submissions.
CamRoot's first-party website analytics is designed for aggregate website-performance reporting and does not create personal visitor profiles. Names, mobile numbers, email addresses, call audio, WhatsApp message content or private communication content are not collected merely for visitor analytics. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the public visitor analytics event records; IP information may separately be processed where required for security, spam prevention, rate limiting, fraud prevention or technical logs.
CamRoot may also use third-party analytics or advertising services, such as Google or Meta services, where enabled for campaign measurement, advertising or website analysis. Such third-party services may process information according to their own technologies, privacy policies and applicable user settings.
Users can manage cookies and related browser storage through their browser or device settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect login sessions, PWA functionality or other platform features.
CamRoot may send push notifications or app alerts to partners for new enquiries, lead updates, account updates, reminders, support updates or important platform notices.
To enable notifications, CamRoot may collect and store notification tokens, device/browser user agent and subscription status. Users can disable notifications from device settings, browser settings or app notification permission settings.
CamRoot may contain links or integrations with third-party services such as WhatsApp, email, hosting providers, analytics platforms, notification services, Google services, Meta services or payment/communication tools if introduced.
Third-party services may have their own privacy policies and terms. CamRoot is not responsible for independent practices, downtime, data handling or actions of third-party platforms, except where required by applicable law.
CamRoot may disclose in its Google Play Data Safety section that the app/portal collects or processes information such as personal information, contact information, user-generated/support content, app activity, device or other IDs, diagnostics, notification tokens and related business information where applicable.
The privacy practices described in this Privacy Policy are intended to remain consistent with CamRoot’s Google Play listing, Data Safety declarations and app account deletion information.
CamRoot users can request deletion of their partner account from within the app/portal or through the public account deletion request page.
After a deletion request is submitted, CamRoot may verify the user’s identity before processing the request. Verification helps prevent unauthorized deletion requests and protects user accounts.
Once a request is approved and completed by an admin, the user’s CamRoot account access will be disabled and the user will no longer be able to log in to the app/portal.
CamRoot retains information for as long as necessary to provide the platform, manage accounts, process enquiries, maintain business records, resolve disputes, enforce rules, prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and support platform security.
If a user wants to reactivate an account after deletion processing, the user may contact CamRoot support. Reactivation may be allowed only after identity verification and only if the account data has not been permanently deleted or anonymized.
CamRoot reserves the right to reject reactivation requests in case of fraud, misuse, policy violation, security risk, unresolved disputes or other legitimate reasons.
Subject to applicable law and verification, users may request access, correction, update or deletion of their personal information.
CamRoot may require identity verification before fulfilling data access, correction, deletion or reactivation requests.
CamRoot takes reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect user and enquiry information. These may include login controls, role-based access, password hashing, session security, access restrictions, admin controls, security monitoring and limited access to sensitive records.
However, no online platform, hosting system, app, website, database, network or transmission method can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Users are responsible for keeping their login details confidential and reporting suspicious activity immediately.
If CamRoot becomes aware of a data breach or security incident affecting user information, we may investigate, take corrective action and notify affected users, authorities or platform providers where required by applicable law or policy.
CamRoot may maintain records related to partner activity, DV Stars, credits, points, payments, refunds, invoices or business transactions if such features are enabled. These records may be retained for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal compliance.
If payment gateways or third-party payment services are used in the future, payment processing may be handled by third-party providers under their own privacy policies and terms.
CamRoot is intended for adults, businesses, installers, service providers and customers seeking CCTV/security services. CamRoot is not intended for children or users below the legal age required to enter into business/service interactions.
If we become aware that information has been submitted by a child without proper consent, we may delete or restrict such information after verification.
CamRoot uses hosting, cloud, analytics, notification and communication providers. Depending on the service provider, information may be stored or processed in India or other countries where such providers operate.
We take reasonable steps to use reputable service providers and protect information according to applicable legal and business requirements.
CamRoot helps connect customer requirements with relevant CamRoot Partners. CamRoot does not guarantee enquiry conversion, customer response, payment, installation quality, final deal closure, service outcome or business profit.
Partners are independent service providers and are responsible for their own pricing, quotation, installation, service quality, customer dealing, warranty commitments and legal/business compliance.
CamRoot may place an account on hold, restrict access, suspend, terminate or block login in case of suspected misuse, fake lead activity, spam, fraud, customer complaints, violation of platform rules, unauthorized data sharing, security risk or legal/business concerns.
CamRoot may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, platform features, business practices, app requirements or security practices.
The “Last Updated” date on this page indicates the latest update date. Continued use of CamRoot after changes means you accept the updated policy.
For privacy-related requests, account deletion support, data correction, account access issues, complaints or questions about this Privacy Policy, users may contact CamRoot through official support channels.
